
Ericka C. Murphy, Esq., was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was admitted to
the Forida Bar in November, 2020. Subsequent to her undergraduate career, in 2016, Ericka
graduated early with a Bachelor’s in English, with a concentration in Women Literature and
Black Literature from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. In addition to her
B.A. in English, Ericka also graduated with her Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude, in 2020 from
the illustrious Florida A&M University, College of Law (“FAMU”).
Currently, Ericka is a practicing Florida Family Law attorney at Vanstone Law Firm, LLC,
where she works on various family law matters including but not limited to: Divorce,
Custody, Paternity, Child Support, Modifications, Contempt and Enforcement, Temporary
Custody by an Extended Family Member, Termination of Parental Rights and Stepparent
Adoption, Simple Living Will and Testament etc.
Ericka has also been teaching as an adjunct professor at St. Petersburg College since 2024,
in which Ericka teaches courses such as Legal Research and Writing; Wills, Trusts, Estates,
and Probate Administration; and Civil law and procedure.
Ericka is dedicated to assisting families in resolving their family law matters in the most fair
and equitable way possible and she is patient about educating the young, upcoming
attorneys in the Pinellas County area.
